This series just keeps getting better! So far the best episode in my opinion, specially when you find out who the story was based from.

the ending literally just doesnt work. It has you go back to your car but it wont let you DRIVE anywhere then it kills you and tells you to retry.

Like always 616 Games knocks it out of the park. Despite some mistakes. The kings of trash horror games make another banger!! Give this game and the reset of the tales Beyond series a try!!
It's incredible how bad these games can be, historically and game-wise; each game gets worse. Based in 1969, you are a guy using a Nokia 3310 who visits a diner where they use a touch-panel register—both technologies are from the future. If you don't have money for actual items from 1969 to put in the game, do something else.
For the people looking for a good game, avoid the game and the other ones, for the people looking for very bad games made by a clearly not capable dev but wich they can be fun for how bad they can be (except for the triggers those are the worst thing) then the games are for you!
This series just keeps getting better! So far the best episode in my opinion, specially when you find out who the story was based from.
Only one minor issue I had, the last QTE was way too fast, I seriously thought the game was buggy at some point, took me ages to get it right. A few streamers that came to my stream also said they had the same issue. Besides that the game is great! Bring on episode 4 :D! Full game play and thoughts on my video below.

It seems that they taught me wrong in history class because they said that no Nokia cell phones existed in 1969 and so with the cars, security cameras or video games like the ones in the Dinner at the beginning. The entire setting is from the late 90s/2000s. It seems that I was wrong all the time and I didn't realize till I watch gameplays about this "Fears To Fathom" style game poorly made. Thanks for letting me know, 616 Games!

To be honest, it is not great and it's hmm... poorly made. I will let you know why.
These "Fears to Fathom" style games no longer even try to hide how poorly made they are, the gameplay hasn't even started and that's it:
1) They say that the names of places and people were changed to protect identities -> At the beginning of the game they tell you about an existing location and at the end of the game they reveal the real names of the people.
2) They tell you that it is 1969 and the first thing they show you is a cell phone from the 2000s. Regrettable.
