I appreciated the graphical improvements compared to the previous games and the attempt to build a more thoughtful storyline, but:
the game is a rip-off of Fears to Phantom Norwood Hitchhike, Carson House and Woodbury Getaway. In addition, the motel is the same as in Titan Chaser;
the plot and its pace of development are really too slow (an hour and a half of nothing);
it is full of logical inconsistencies (e.g. Why sleeping in motels when the protagonists have a camper? Why not leaving the motel immediately after the owner's son breaks in? Why doesn't the killer check the closet, since he already did it once? How did the door unlock? What was the purpose of the pizza scene? Why do two pizzas cost 80 dollars? ... );
the fade outs were all unnecessary.
I'm sorry but more than based on a true story (the Golden State Killer), it seems based on a silly one.
it's a game chill id play this over any fears of fathom story that's been released and if u telling me u rather sleep in a nasty camper then in a motel u straight crazy
Fears to fathom fans need to understand that fears to fathom was not the first game to take real stories/experiences that happened to people, they are not the first game to use the persons microphone as a way for the perpatrator to hear you, they don't own the thriller/horror genre.
An clone of not inspired by but full on Judy take every single narrative beat clone Fears to Fathom but with a scat fetish is a bold choice for a game but I'll watch my favorite YouTubers play anything.

OMG! This game is so good! I do have to say, it did not feel like was playing a 616 game and I have to say I missed the banging soundtracks, but this game the game is great, you can tell where the inspiration comes from but in my opinion the 616 Games did better, well freaking done! cant wait for the next episodes! Would appreciate if you fine folks checked out my youtube video :)
definitely on my list of top 5 by 616 games! I loved the gameplay and story! It kept me on my toes 😂 I didn’t know who to trust! Very long game, but I was immersed the whole time!!
This game was awesome man, I absolutely loved the style of it with the graphics being really nice and smooth. I loved the silliness of the game with the jokes in between, but also the tense moments. People complain about the unnecessary parts and pacing issues, I for one love the stupid and cheesy unnecessary parts and want them into the next episodic horrors. Please try to keep it how you did for the next ones, only thing is make the games a little scarier, with more tense moments that build up to that jumpscare.
NOT a true story. Not sure how it can claim to be true and then use the name of a real killer. Unless IRL the main character just saw him from far away and then later learned who he was and the rest (see: the whole game) was artistic license. Fun game though. Yes it’s very like FTF, which is a good thing ngl.

You need to be psychologically ready to play this game! It will surprise you! - it start of slow but believe me it gets crazy after! Get ready to be in shock! I Loved it! Definitely recommend :)

This game was actually so good! I loved how different the game felt in comparison to your other games. I felt like I was truly playing a Fears To Fathom game. There are some pacing issues, and some moments that I felt weren't very necessary. However, I thought that this was such a good step in the direction for y'all! Keep making these please!!

They took a real life story and turned it into their own "Fears of Fathom" game
Amazing game really enjoyed it from start to finish definitely looking forward to play more of your games
